Subaru has earned a strong reputation in Cleveland, Ohio. Over the years, the company has continued to innovate and incorporate new technology into its vehicles. At Ken Ganley Subaru North Olmsted, we're thrilled about the newest model in our lineup. It's called the Solterra, a name that's inspired by the Latin words for sun and earth. The Solterra is notable because its Subaru's first all-electric vehicle.
Like most of the other models that Subaru makes, the Solterra comes with standard all-wheel drive. Because all-wheel drive can enhance traction, it can be so useful if you're ever facing tough conditions in the Parma, Ohio area. The Solterra is also equipped with the X-MODE® feature, which allows the SUV to do even better in challenging terrain.
With its all-electric drivetrain, this model can make 215 horsepower and 249 pound-feet of torque. Regenerative braking allows the SUV to capture some of the energy created when you slow down, and it uses that energy to help power the motor. If you'd like to really enhance your efficiency as you drive around Elyria, you can choose the Eco mode through the Driving Mode Select program.
It's easy to keep the Solterra charged and ready to go. You can plug in it at home or at a public charging station and enjoy quick charging. With a full charge, it can travel up to 228 miles.
The Solterra is packed with high-tech amenities. Every trim on our lot in North Olmsted has Wi-Fi capability and multiple USB ports, and many Solterra models have a wireless charging pad, too. The Premium, which is the entry-level trim, features an 8.0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. It comes with SiriusXM®, Apple Music and Amazon Music, as well. The higher trims, the Limited and Touring, come with 12.3-inch touchscreens, integrated navigation and premium Harman Kardon sound systems.
