Crosstrek Base and Premium trims are powered by an efficient 2.0-liter four-cylinder BOXER® engine producing 152 horsepower and 145 pound-feet of torque. Power is routed to the all-wheel-drive system through a six-speed manual or Lineartronic® continuously variable transmission. Selecting the latter also equips X-MODE advanced traction management for even more inclement-weather control.

If you're looking for a little more motivation for your North Ridgeville drives, Sport and Limited trims employ a 2.5-liter BOXER® powerplant that bumps up performance to 182 horsepower and 176 pound-feet of torque.

Interior and Practicality

Though technically designated a "subcompact" crossover, the Subaru Crosstrek is impressively accommodating. The cabin provides comfortable seating for four adults, with ample legroom and headroom and seats that offer long-distance comfort. Several amenities are available to enhance comfort and convenience, including a power liftgate, proximity keyless entry, a sunroof, and StarTex or Leather upholstery. The All-Weather Package-standard on all but the base trim-equips heated front seats, heated mirrors, all-season floor mats, and a wiper de-icer.

With all seats in use, Crosstrek retains 21 cubic feet for cargo behind the second row. And when you need more room to accommodate your Westlake errands or adventures, the rear seats fold easily to increase capacity to 55.3 cubic feet.

Engine Options

The new 2024 Subaru Crosstrek lineup continues to impress at every area of performance. Under the hood, there're three available engine options offered. The standard engine is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder Boxer that produces 152-horsepower and 146 pounds-feet of torque. Choosing a Sport or Limited model will gain you a stronger 2.5-liter four-cylinder Boxer engine with 182-horsepower and 178 pounds-feet of torque. The Crosstrek Hybrid model uses the same base engine, only paired with two electric motors and a battery pack that produces 148-horsepower, while achieving the utmost fuel economy in the city and on the highway. You can also travel up to 17 miles using only electric power, letting skip using fuel entirely on shorter trips around Elyria.

Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive

Every new 2024 Subaru Crosstrek model is built for areas like Parma, OH, as all models come equipped with standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. The system sends power to all four-wheels and will divert it to the wheels with the most grip, providing you with optimal traction and control in any weather and on any terrain.

Design

All 2024 Subaru Crosstrek models have impressive exterior updates, giving each model a bolder and more modern appeal. All models have more body cladding around the wheels and bumpers, protecting them from the elements. There's also an entirely redesigned front end, featuring slimmer headlights and a more prominent front grille. The Crosstrek lineup also now come with LED steering responsive headlights that turn with the wheel, allowing you to see better around corners.

Inside the cabin, you and your passengers can enjoy comfortable seating for five passengers on either cloth, StarTex® water repellent, or leather upholstery. Behind the second row, you can utilize 20.8 cubic feet of cargo space, with 55.3 cubic feet of maximum cargo space with the seats down.

Technology

Every new 2024 Subaru Crosstrek model gets a major update in its technology. Now, every new Crosstrek model comes equipped with an 11.6-inch touchscreen display for the Starlink multimedia system, featuring standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility that allows you to connect your smartphone device with Bluetooth or a USB cord and have full control over apps, calls, messages, music, maps, and much more, helping you stay connected wherever you go.

Safety

You can drive with greater confidence thanks to the standard Eyesight Driver Assist Technology system in every new Crosstrek model. The Eyesight system features standard pre-collision braking, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, lane centering, and more.
